There is an island of misfit toys,
A place where all toys can go,
If they’re broken or bizarre or just unwanted,
Or left out in the cold snow.

At least, there WAS an island of misfit toys,
It’s hard to even see it currently.
It’s polluted with plastic and oil and more.
And dying from resource scarcity.

It’s overpopulated with toys no one wants,
Who act and behave very cruel.
Who fight and destroy and point fingers of blame.
And then act like they’re all very cool.

How did this island that once did shine,
Become such a toil and mess?
Did we just plan it all wrong? Can this problem be solved,
With pious self-righteousness?

The Island Of misfit toys has many ills,
But one stands above the rest.
There are too few children for the misfit toys,
To provide homes in their toy chests.

Abortion has killed them, Adults don’t want them.
Their future and homes they do spurn.
And the only hope for the Island Of misfit toys,
Is for people from sin to turn.
